Well, when I was little, I freaked out and covered my ears when a sound was too loud or unexpected. Fireworks, alarms, a gunfire, etc. But right now, I don't freak out anymore. I flinch, though. Also, some sounds can make an autistic person mad; like for me, baby and toddler crying makes me irritated. Sure it's their way to get attention, but I think they're a bunch of whiners, and they need to man up. That doesn't mean I hate them. I wish there's got to be another way to tell what they want than crying.
